Redword — Privacy Policy Last updated: September 29, 2026 Redword ("the app") is an offline party word-guessing game published for Android. This policy explains what information the app and the third-party services built into it handle when you play. What this app is Redword has no user accounts, no login, and no server operated by the developer that stores your personal data. All gameplay happens entirely on your device. Information handled by third-party services Advertising (Google AdMob, via the Google Mobile Ads SDK): to show and measure ads, the SDK may collect your device's IP address (which may be used to estimate your general location), device identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID, information about your interactions with ads and the app (for example app launches, taps and ad views), and diagnostic information about the performance of the app and the SDK. This data is shared with Google for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, and is encrypted in transit. Whether ads are personalized depends on your consent choices and your device's ad settings. Consent (Google User Messaging Platform): if you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google's consent tool asks how your data may be used for ads and stores your choice on your device. Purchases (Google Play Billing): the app offers five optional one-time purchases — Remove Ads, and four word packs (Football, Film & Series, Classic Cartoons, Anime). They are processed by Google Play. The app receives a confirmation of which items you own so it can unlock them; the developer never receives or stores your payment details. Ratings (Google Play In-App Review): the app may occasionally show Google Play's own rating card. Any rating or review you give is handled by Google Play; the app is not told whether or how you rated. Stored only on your device Your language, theme and sound settings, your best-score records, which word cards you have already seen (so new games show new words first), and a few simple counters used to decide when the rating card may appear. This information is never transmitted anywhere, and uninstalling the app deletes it permanently. The app does not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos, files, microphone or camera data, or any other personal data. Third-party privacy policies Google Privacy Policy — https://policies.google.com/privacy How Google uses information from apps that use its services — https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites Your choices If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a consent form lets you choose how your data is used for ads the first time you open the app. You can change this choice at any time from the app's Settings → "Ad Privacy Options" (shown only where applicable). You can also reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads from your device's own Google settings at any time. The optional "Remove Ads" purchase turns off ads in the app permanently. Data retention and deletion The developer keeps no server-side account or profile, so there is nothing held by the developer to request deletion of. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data immediately. Data processed by Google is governed by Google's own policies linked above. Children's privacy This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from them. Changes to this policy If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly. Contact Questions about this policy or the app: azgamestudio.contact@gmail.com
